Nancy Pelosi to visit Charleston, Sept. 25

We're not kidding, she's really coming.

Pelosi, D-Calif., will give the keynote address Sept. 25 to the Charleston branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Shirley Sherrod, former director of the USDA’s Rural Development program in Georgia, also will talk. She was ousted from her job in July after comments she made in March were characterized as racist.

We invite our readers to consider how they can best welcome the Ms. Pelosi to the Lowcountry. Feel free to share your ideas with our readers.

Can there possibly be anyone in South Carolina who would wish to welcome this hag?

I'm sure what Earl had in mind for Max Libroom was a more satirical in nature.

I live outside the Charleston area but will be in town next week. I'd be willing to welcome her b protesting her agenda outside the event. Is the Charleston Tea Party or any other group organizing something?
