How long will it take?

"It took about 30 years for this terrorism to develop. It's going to take more than five years to deconstruct them."
-Rudy Giuliani, World Trade Center
September 10, 2006
... until then, we can't afford to quit or let our guard down. Those we remember this week deserve that much from us.

How long will it take? When the Islamofascists are still carrying a grudge over being cast out of the Iberian peninsula and take affront to our brush with them after kicking Spain out of the Philippines, there is no short sighted short term solution.

Their Mein Kampf was written by Mohammed and comparatively the Austrian paperhanger that fired up the '40s in Europe was a rookie.

Rudy was addressing only the latest campaign and there are hints that it runs back to 1946, this will not be handled by letting Janet Reno prosecute and sweep under the rug.

As you know I am a Rudy man. I do not completely understand what he said in this statement but the war on terroism will last forever. Maybe certain fragments can be deconstructed. We must be ever alert.

I agree, I don't think we can afford to let our guard down, either.

    I like Rudy Giuliani.
